Rogue Anti-Trump Judge\u2019s Days On Federal Bench Could Be Numbered<\/h1>\n

Looks like leftist Judge James Boasberg is finally learning that when you play political games from the bench, there are consequences. Texas Rep. Brandon Gill (R-26) has reportedly moved to file articles of impeachment against Boasberg after explosive new revelations tied to Operation Arctic Frost \u2014 one of the most notorious abuses of power from the Biden presidency.<\/p>\n

Speaking with Fox News\u2019 Laura Ingraham, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) revealed that his colleague, Gill, is moving forward with filing impeachment papers against Boasberg \u2014 the current chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.<\/p>\n

The move follows shocking revelations this week about the 197 subpoenas targeting conservative leaders and private citizens under Operation Arctic Frost, part of Joe Biden\u2019s sprawling surveillance effort against his political opponents.<\/p>\n

Among those targeted was Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). Then\u2013Special Counsel Jack Smith issued a secret subpoena to AT&T for Cruz\u2019s phone records \u2014 and Boasberg approved it while forbidding the company from notifying the senator. It was a blatant violation of congressional privilege and a chilling example of how far Biden\u2019s DOJ was willing to go to spy on its critics.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe should be impeached. This is why I\u2019m glad that my colleague out of Texas, Rep. Brandon Gill, is actually filing those documents to have him impeached,\u201d Donalds said. \u201cYou can not have a judge just be rogue in our system of justice, helping to abet a rogue prosecutor like Jack Smith to start targeting any American, let alone United States senators.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is outrageous! And once again, it demonstrates the length to which the Democrats would stoop in order to keep political power in the United States,\u201d he added. \u201cThis is not about the Constitution. This is not about the American people. This is about their craven desire to remain in power.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd you can look at this shutdown or anything else that\u2019s going on this year to demonstrate the fact that the Democrats do not care what lever they have to pull or where they have to go to,\u201d Donalds continued. \u201cIt\u2019s about power for them first, second, and third, not the American people, not the Constitution.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) has also joined the growing chorus calling for Judge James Boasberg\u2019s impeachment, emphasizing that in his entire political career, he has never seen a judge\u2019s actions rise to this level of concern.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
