The longtime television host and Amber, who have been married for two years, appeared relaxed and affectionate while spending time with Good Morning America weather anchor Sam Champion and his husband, Rubem Robierb. The group took time off together to enjoy a beach escape far from their usual television routines.
Roberts posted a cheerful selfie from the trip on Instagram. The photo shows all four friends smiling widely as they stand together by the ocean. Rubem held the camera while snapping the picture, capturing a playful moment between the couples.
During the shot, Sam Champion leaned in and kissed his husband on the cheek, while Roberts placed her hands gently on Sam’s head in a lighthearted gesture that made the photo feel even more spontaneous.

Both Roberts and Champion were absent from Monday’s broadcast of Good Morning America, clearly enjoying a well-earned break with their partners.
Champion has been married to Rubem Robierb since 2012. Their wedding took place in New York and was attended by several colleagues from the morning show, including Roberts herself, as well as Lara Spencer and Josh Elliott.
The couple originally met three years earlier at a New Year’s Eve party in Florida — a meeting that eventually led to their long-lasting relationship and marriage.
