Kai Trump has found herself at the center of online debate after sharing a video from a trip to one of the most exclusive grocery stores in the United States.
The 18-year-old, who is the eldest granddaughter of Donald Trump, posted a vlog on YouTube documenting her visit to Erewhon, a high-end grocery chain that has long been known for its extremely expensive products. The store has built a reputation for selling organic, vegan and locally sourced food — along with prices that regularly shock shoppers.

Erewhon was originally founded in Boston in 1966 and now operates 11 locations across Los Angeles. Over the years, the chain has become a cultural phenomenon in the city, attracting celebrities, influencers and curious visitors eager to see what the “luxury supermarket” experience looks like.
During her visit to the Los Angeles location, Kai explored the store while accompanied by Secret Service agents and a camera operator filming the outing. She browsed the aisles and decided to try several of the store’s well-known items, including a sushi set and one of Erewhon’s famous smoothies.

The final bill for a single grocery bag came to 233 dollars.
After leaving the store, Kai returned to her hotel room to taste the food she had purchased. That’s when the video took an unexpected turn.
While trying the sushi, she reacted immediately with visible disappointment. “I love sushi. This is the worst tuna I’ve ever tasted in my life,” she said before spitting it out.

She continued describing the flavor, saying the fish smelled strongly and had a strange texture. “It was fishy and kind of hard. I’m going to throw up,” she added during the moment captured on camera.
The clip quickly drew attention online, where viewers began discussing both the luxury grocery prices and Kai’s blunt reaction to the expensive meal.
