‘Today’ Anchor Recently Returned to Studio for Emotional Visit

The public sighting comes shortly after Savannah made an emotional return to the “Today” studio.

The moment reflected her strength as she continued balancing her role on television while her family searched for answers about Nancy.

Friends, colleagues, and viewers have continued to rally around Savannah, offering support as the investigation moves forward.

Nancy Guthrie Last Seen Hours Before Disappearance

Nancy was last seen in Tucson, Arizona, on the evening of Jan. 31 after having dinner with her daughter Annie and Annie’s husband, Tommaso Cioni.

Authorities said she returned to her home shortly before 10 p.m. Investigators believe she disappeared sometime during the early morning hours of Feb. 1. Nancy Guthrie has not been seen since. Police later released Nest doorbell footage that appears to show a masked, gloved, and armed man tampering with the camera at Nancy’s front door the night she vanished.

Detectives have carried out search warrants in the surrounding area and continue examining DNA evidence gathered during the investigation. No arrests have been made.

Nancy’s family has offered a $1 million reward for information that could help locate her. Authorities are urging anyone with details, no matter how small, to come forward as the search for answers continues.

Reported Internet Outage and Missing Ring Footage Draw Investigators’ Attention

Investigators are also examining a reported internet outage that occurred around the same time Nancy Guthrie disappeared.

Authorities have not confirmed whether the disruption is directly linked to the suspected abduction. Still, detectives say it remains an important detail as they continue to reconstruct the early-morning timeline of Feb. 1.

Several neighbors have said their Ring camera footage from that critical window was unavailable. NewsNation reporter Brian Entin noted that the outage appeared to coincide with the timeframe investigators believe Guthrie vanished.

Officials hope understanding why the cameras went offline could help clarify what happened during those missing moments and provide new insight into the case.
